The deceiver
The deceiver
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for
food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one
wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her,
and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that
they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves
coverings. Genesis 3:6,7

There
is an unquenchable thirst inside men that seek money, power, honor, and
success. Satan makes use of such desires to deceive men into seeking false
glory in vain. Satan takes a hold of the thoughts of men and encourages them to
follow the ways of the world; to live according to their own desires and
vanity. But our souls are destroyed when we fall into such deceptive ways of
Satan.
